I didn't know what to expect as this was the author's first book - but I was so impressed and I can't wait for another fantastic read from Kris Trudeau! I loved the characters, the relationships, and the different stories within this story that kept me turning pages well into the night. I was sad when it ended - I hope the author has started another. I think t I love when stories keep me guessing as this one did.
I think this book would make such a fun movie! There's an interesting mix of artificial intelligence and time travel, and the pace while a bit slow to start off really starts to pick up and get's quite action-y. I could see this getting turned into a movie at some point. Overall I enjoyed the concepts and the characters. Can't wait to see what else the author writes! Perhaps the font is a little larger? Characters are likeable, interesting and well-rounded. If you like that sort of thing.
So, in the future in Timeshift, things are like they are today: All in all, a great first novel.
I look forward to her next one. The ideas of what technology may be capable of in the future and it's impact on society for better or for worse is fascinating.
I love the gameplay, but the story and cutscenes didn't motivate me very much. They should've kept the old main chracter and in-depth story and cutscenes.
TimeShift – TimeShift - A Novel by Kris Trudeau
It would be like being told the story of a similar, but alternate dimension created as a result of Krone's TimeShifting and the branching of dimensions into other dimensions like they show in one of the cutscenes or something. Destined4Greatn 11 years ago 4 I'm thinking that was the set up for a sequel Sure, Hoover balanced the budget.
They closed the immediate story arc that you had been playing throughout the game dealing with Kronebut they set the game up for a sequel by posing a very important question who are you really?
Who do you answer to? I'm not a fan of cliffhangers, but at least this closed off this game's story while leaving plenty of area to explore in the future. You can't mutilate corpses? How the hell am I suppose to get an erection, thanks a lot Ubisoft.

Delta DirtDiver User Info: Destined4Greatn 11 years ago 7 They could have at least explained what th Paradox was?
But I think the ending was fitting, it did what needed to be done. I hope if they do make a sequel they place it in a less wierd time, maybe an Equilibrium like Negative Utopia. Sure, Hoover balanced the budget. If you knew anything about what "paradoxes" are you would understand.
The endingwow(spoilers) - TimeShift Message Board for Xbox - GameFAQs
A paradox is a contradiction. Note you should remember Tucker saying he ran simulations of alternate time streams crossing into your own, which totalled out to be s. Since there is multiple time streams or zonesthat would imply that a multiverse multiple universes parallel to our own exist, each containing a infinate amount of you's which play out every situation differently thus creating a new time stream; hence is why there is an infinate amount.
Now at the end of the game it said "paradox imminent, initiating auto return" because you were in a alternate time scream from the one you actually left in the beginning.
